On January 11, 2018, HUD announced over $2 billion to more than 7,300 local homeless housing and service programs across the U.S. and Guam.

Places like:
Atlanta GA = $23,085,738 in funding for 2018
Bakersfield CA = $3,253,214
Fulton County GA, = Over $2,000,000
Houston TX = Over $45,000,000 in funding between 2016 and 2017
California was awarded with the following in 2017…and this is just some of the money:

These CoC grants (CONTINUUM OF CARE PROGRAMS) will help end homelessness and provide critically needed support to local programs on the front lines of serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

I get hundreds of emails per week asking me how to apply for grants. As I tell everyone, that is not my specialty.

Additionally, (I hate to break it to you) you are not going to get one! The big non profits get the grants. If you do get a grant, you’d be lucky to get $35,000 and quite frankly, that is not enough to help you out.

I don’t want to show you how to apply for one grant and then potentially not get a grant the following year.

1. Locate these programs that have received over $2,000,000,000 (2 BILLION) in funding
2. Contact them
3. Show them that you have your act together – i.e. you have a house (or many group homes) and that they are furnished and that you provide additional services (food, transportation, med-management etc.)

4. Continue marketing to them. Chances are you they will not send you clients after one meeting!
5. Provide their clients with housing. They will normally pay $25 – $200 PER DAY. The money can be huge – especially when you have 8 – 10 beds PER HOUSE!
6. Collect the money, deposit into your bank account. Spend some. Invest the remaining to continue growing your Care Home Business
